不懂外语,网上外贸还能做吗 Trading Without Foreign Language

很多亲们都想朝着外贸这条道路上走,阿连也承认这过程的确能学到不少东西。但往往陌生的语言就会成了双方之间沟通的障碍,是不是真的不会外语就做不好外贸呢?答案是否定的。因为我们可以借助一些工具或者其他途径来尽可能降低语言门槛,不懂语言也同样做外贸!
Many friends would like to engage in foreign trade and I also admit that we can learn a lot in that process. But strange language is always the obstacle of mutual communication. Will foreign trade not be done well if one does not know foreign language? The answer is negative. Because we can try to lower the requirement of language by getting help from some tools or other ways, foreign trade can be done even if one does not know that language.

1.使用一些比较知名的翻译工具:例如www.ebay.cn.上提供的在线翻译工具:http://www.ebay.cn/pages/jsp/fm/third/translate/fanyi.jsp,支持10种语言和中文的互译;Google在线翻译:http://translate.google.cn/#,支持42种语言互译;海词在线翻译:http://dict.cn/fy/,提供英文和中文的互译,但此工具的翻译准确性没有前两者高。
Use some comparatively famous translating tools: for example, online translating tool http://www.ebay.cn/pages/jsp/fm/third/translate/fanyi.jsp, offered by www.ebay.cn., which offers translation between Chinese and other 10 languages; Google online translation:http://translate.google.cn/#, offers translation among 42 languages; Dict.cn online translation http://dict.cn/fy/, offers translation between English and Chinese, which is not as precise as the former two tools.  

2.对于翻译一些非英语的外语,用Google在线翻译直接进行中文与某外文的翻译不是特别的准确,此时你可以将例如欧洲国家的语言翻译成英文,然后根据英文来理解。
When translating some foreign languages but not English, it is not very precise to translate between Chinese and the other foreign languages directly by Google online translating, but you can translate that language, such as languages of European countries, into English , and understand it according to English.

3.你可以查看同样产品的其他卖家的产品描述,或者去一些国外的相关产品网站上去找找类似的说明,看多了熟悉了就明白了,但切记不要照搬硬抄。同时也要根据你的产品进行实事求是的描述,所以你可以结合翻译工具来筛选适合自己产品的部分进行编辑修改。
You can check the same products’ description of other sellers or search some familiar statements on some foreign websites of relevant products. You will understand as you see more and get familiar to it, but remember not to copy. At the same time, you also need to describe truly according to your products, so you can edit and modify with translating tool to choose suitable parts for your products.

4.另外我们可以上网搜索各种相关的实用模板。如“怎么撰写专业的物品标题和物品说明”或者“怎么写售后邮件”等等,从中不断学习好的描述方法来提高自己的写作水平。
Besides, we can search various relevant useful templates online, such as “how to write professional title and statement of article” or “how to write after sale e-mail” and so on, keeping learning good description and improving writing level.

5.通常老外都是比较善解人意的,只要你能够及时地与他们进行沟通,在沟通的时候向他们示好,并告诉他们你的外语不太好请他们多多谅解。他们说话的时候往往就不会说的很复杂或者使用一些缩略语。我们可以收集一下常用的缩略语并且学会运用。如:thx= thanks 、np =No Problem、cul= See you later、lol =Laugh Out Loud、2=to、4=for、b4=Before、BR=Best Regards、FYI = For Your Information等等。
Usually, foreigners are considerate, as long as you can communicate with them on time, showing you friendliness and telling them your foreign language is not very good and asking for forgiveness, they will not make complicated dialogue or will use some abbreviations. We can collect and learn to use some here: thx= thanks, np =No Problem, cul= See you later, lol =Laugh Out Loud, 2=to, 4=for, b4=Before, BR=Best Regards, FYI = For Your Information and so on.

6.前期向会语言的亲朋好友求助,或者向提供专门的翻译服务的机构,支付一定的服务费用请专人帮你翻译。但你仍然需要去学习语言,不懂外语仍然会成为一个障碍或者瓶颈,所以学习一些最基础的交流用语,最基础的语法知识,加上一些特定的产品行业的专业词汇,你就可以轻松搞定外贸了!
Ask for help from relatives and friends who know foreign language in pre-period, or pay to specialist for translating since some institutions offer professional translating service. But you still need to learn foreign language, not knowing foreign language might still become an obstacle or bottleneck. Hence, if learn some basic communication words and grammar with the addition of some specific special words of a product industry, you can do foreign trade easily!
